Local Chapter Application
Thanks for coming to check out TeSPA! This form is used as an introductory application for prospective Local Chapters. Please complete this if you do not have a chapter at your school already and are seeking to take advantage of our chapter benefits! After finishing this application, we will send you a follow-up confirmation with information on the next steps.
Step 1 of 3
Step 1. Chapter Guidelines
In order to maintain a consistent level of support for live events, we’re looking for chapters that are within the boundaries of our event support network, which includes all of North America, including Alaska, Canada, and Hawaii. By filling out this chapter application, you are ensuring that your organization is
located in North America
and has a shipping address or representative with a shipping address in the same geographic location as your college or university.
I have read and understood that TeSPA currently operates only in North America.
In order to build a healthy, diverse, and all-inclusive gaming community, we’re looking for chapters that can provide a positive community experience for all gamers, regardless of age, gender, background, or game choice. By filling out this chapter application, you are ensuring that your organization is
and will not discriminate based on age, gender, background, or game choice.
Gaming Agnostic Requirement
I have read and understood that my club is required to be open and inclusive to to all games and members with no regard for their background or disposition.
In order to ensure a reliable and well-organized center of operations for local events, we’re looking for chapters that are recognized by a local college, university, or research institution as an official campus group that may utilize on-campus rooms and resources. By filling out this chapter application, you are ensuring that your organization is an
registered student organization
with the university, or that you plan on registering your club at a local campus within the next couple weeks.
Registered Student Organization Requirement
I have read and understood that TeSPA chapters must be registered student organizations with my school.
I understand that, if my organization is not in line with the guidelines detailed above, my application may be rejected at any stage of the application process.
