A new opportunity for Tespa players is coming this spring.

Students competing in Tespa’s spring competitive leagues will have a chance to represent their schools live thanks to a new collaboration between Tespa and ESPN!

We are excited to team up with ESPN to host the Collegiate Esports Championship. Schools from across the U.S. and Canada will compete live in Overwatch, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and StarCraft II at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, from May 10–12. The Collegiate Esports Championship will be the first time Blizzard hosts four collegiate championships under one roof.

The top teams from each of the four Tespa tournaments will be invited to attend the Collegiate Esports Championship to compete for scholarship prizing and the title in each game. Teams will square off in live competition to see who will emerge as the best in college esports.

Tickets to the event for Tespa Members can be purchased here. In the meantime, stay tuned to our Twitch and Twitter for all the qualifying action!

We’re excited to announce ROG as the official hardware sponsor of the CEC! As our exclusive PC and monitor partner for the year, ROG’s Strix GL12CX  and ROG Strix XG258Q will be powering all of the on-stage action at the event. In addition, teams will have access to more ROG products in the official player practice area.

Joining us in Houston? Stop by the ROG and Tespa booth to play Hearthstone on the ROG Strix Scar II GL504 and Hearthstone for mobile on the latest ROG phone, make posters for your favorite teams, and even snag some sweet loot at a discounted price. We’ll also be raffling off an ROG Strix Scar II Gaming Laptop and more through our booth raffle!
